Description: After his parents' divorce, Dylan moved around with his mother a good deal. He wound up living on his own in Alaska while still a teenager so that he could focus on his ice skating training. He moved to King's Bay in 2002 to skate with Courtney Chase after splitting with his former partner.

He was not shy about admitting to Courtney that he is gay, so she set him up with her friend Alex Marshall. Dylan took the initiative in pursuing Alex, and the two began dating. However, while in Atlanta with Courtney to compete at Nationals, Dylan hooked up with another male skater, a fact that Alex later deduced. The two men had a falling-out, and a vengeful Dylan lied to and seduced Trevor Brooks, whom he (correctly) assumed Alex had feelings for.

After he and Courtney had a disastrous skate and failed their test, Dylan blew up at her--and his tirade was witnessed by the judges. His future in skating ruined, Dylan made a final bid to destroy Alex's life by claiming that Alex plagiarized his novel. Trevor uncovered the truth, and Dylan returned to Alaska.
